As some of you may know (from my Instagram and previous blog post), I just attended New York Fashion Week for the first time a couple weeks ago. While the experience itself was amazing, it left me feeling pretty exhausted. It didn’t help that I started school the same week as NYFW, either.
To treat myself and recoup after NYFW, I teamed up with the team at mySpa to get a massage. (Side note: I am the biggest massage fiend. I think massages are one of God’s greatest gifts to the world and I never turn down the opportunity 😂)
Relaxing After NYFW with mySpa at Fairmont Chicago
I headed over to the Fairmont Chicago at Millennium Park for a day at the spa. I had never been to mySpa before and was blown away with the treatment + facilities.
mySpa is an 11,000-square-foot sanctuary offering personalized massage, skincare, body treatments, manicure, pedicure and couples experiences, a full-service fitness studio and retail area. Each massage, skincare, and body ritual treatment room includes an array of music choices, including iPod docks for a completely customizable musical experience, and a menu of exclusive myEssentials add-ons for massages. (How cool is that?!)
The spa itself is beautiful. I loved the clean, minimal feel of the spa, which helped me to really clear my mind from the stresses of the week.
I received a 50-minute full-body massage from Michael, one of the masseuses. The massage itself was heavenly, and I definitely recommend Michael to anyone heading over to mySpa in the future.
After my massage, I got to use the facility’s steam room + showers. Everything was in perfect condition, and I felt like a princess my whole time at mySpa.
I would 10/10 recommend this spa for anyone looking for an oasis in Chicago! For more information about mySpa, visit: http://www.fairmont.com/chicago/spa/
What do you do to relax after a long week?
