If you watched YouTube back in the day, then you’d remember seeing beauty gurus make their monthly “favorites” videos. I was recently reminiscing on those videos and thought it would be fun to take the same concept and write a blog post every few months updating you all on a few of the lifestyle favorites I’ve been enjoying. (I love trying new things/places/products – so I’m guaranteed to always have something new to share.)
Let’s dive into a few of my summertime favorites!
Clothing
If you’ve been following me on Instagram this summer, you’d see some of my favorite summer fashions. It can get pretty hot in Chicago during the summertime, so it’s a bit of a game trying to find clothing that’s both cute *and* lightweight/breezy. I also attend a lot of events for the blog during summertime, so I constantly feel like I’m looking for a new outfit/dress/etc.
One of the brands I’ve been loving this summer is Femmeluxe. I first saw them on Instagram (such adorable pieces!), and when they recently reached out to me to work together I was stoked. The bodysuit I wore in the Instagram post below is from Femmeluxe – I love the champagne color of it.

Home/Office
I recently moved rooms, not apartments (my roommates and I decided to stay in the same apartment but just switch rooms.) Because of this, I now have a bigger living space and even have space now to set up a workspace/office. I’ve been loving re-decorating and getting my bedroom set up how I want it to be.
Some of my workspace/office favorites have been my Erin Condren LifePlanner (gets my life in order), a good candle (I’ve been obsessed with “Tobacco” by Brooklyn Candle Studio), and my Google Home (the best for playing music/podcasts while I work at my laptop.) Oh – and my laptop stand! Such a lifesaver for good posture.

I’ve loved updating my Amazon store over the course of this summer and finally have it set up a way that I feel really accurately represents my Amazon obsession. 😂 Seriously – our apartment receives an Amazon package what seems to be every other day.
