I get DM’s on my Instagram all the time asking how I make money blogging, how I started monetizing, etc. While I love responding to all of your DMs, I thought it might be smarter to make a video/post answering all the questions and setting the record straight.

How I Make Money on Instagram:
- Sponsorships and Ads. I get most of my sponsorships for Instagram through brands reaching out to me, or through networks. A few networks I like are Blog Meets Brand, TapInluence, and IZEA.
How I Make Money on the Blog:
- I also make money through sponsorships on my blog, but it usually involves more pictures/content. Same thing as before: brands usually reach out to me directly or I get opportunities through networks.
- Another way I make money on the blog is through affiliates. Right now, I am an affiliate for only 2 companies: Opinion Outpost and Amazon. Opinion Outpost is a website that I loooooveeeee for making money on the side. I used it before I ever started blogging and still recommend it to friends/family. (Click here to read my review of Opinion Outpost and find out how it works.) I also am an associate for Amazon, because I personally am an Amazon-addict and buy things from them on a weekly basis. (Click here to see my Amazon shop – full of all my favorite products.)
- Lastly, I make money through the blog by hosting in-store events for brands. This is something I’ve only recently started doing, but like doing it and going out of my comfort zone. It also gives me the opportunity to meet my readers/followers in person which is the best feeling ever.
