If you’ve been following me for a while now, you’ll know that I’ve already lived in quite a few places since moving to Chicago. In fact, I’d lived on my college campus in a dorm room and 2 other apartments before living in the apartment I’m currently in now. Moving apartments frequently means that I’m constantly looking for new ways to decorate my space and make it feel more like home. This post is going to show you some easy ways I like to decorate my apartment and also introduce you to a product I’m completely obsessed with lately!
One of my favorite ways to decorate apartments is with art prints and posters. I love them so much because they are relatively inexpensive compared to other forms of art, and they allow me to showcase things I like/my personality. (My freshman year of college I bought a James Dean poster to go above my bed so I could dream about JD every night. 😂)
However, one thing that always annoyed me about posters and art prints is that a lot of the time, you have to put holes in them to use thumbtacks/push pins. I hated all the tiny holes posters left behind on my apartment walls…and my past landlords didn’t love it either. I’ve never had a solution to this (clear tape looks too tacky in my opinion) until I found HANGables® Wall Fasteners.
