If you’ve been following my blog for awhile now, you would know that I have a very minimal and basics-based style (check out my Instagram by clicking here.) Don’t get me wrong – I love to hop onto trends every now and then. But the main way that I like to switch up my look and add something extra to my outfits is with accessories. It’s so much fun and allows me to express myself in a different way.
One of my favorite accessories to play around with (and that I always carry with me in my purse) is sunglasses. I’ve been interested in finding a pair of high-quality yet stylish sunglasses for a while now, that can last with me throughout the years.
Recently, I was informed that Kohl’s was going to start carrying Ray-Ban and knew I had to check it out and snag a pair for myself (plus – who doesn’t love Kohl’s Cash?!
I’ve never owned a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses, mostly because I was never sure which style would look good on my face and didn’t want to order without being able to try on the glasses first (who can relate?!) However, I live super close to a Kohl’s in Chicago and was able to try on different pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses to find a pair I loved.
I ended up choosing a pair of the classic, black Ray-Ban Aviators (the specific style name on the Kohl’s website is Ray-Ban RB3025 Original Aviator 58mm Sunglasses, FYI.) I fell in love with this pair of Ray-Ban Aviators because they are so versatile and go with any outfit. I especially love that the metal frame is black, instead of gold or silver, so I don’t have to worry about it clashing with whatever jewelry I choose to wear that day. The Crystal glass lenses feel really sturdy too, which is an added bonus.

Fun fact: The Aviator style was originally designed in 1973 and was once used only for pilots, but has now evolved into a modern fashion Icon.
I’ve already worn my new Ray-Ban Aviators so many times since picking them up and am so happy I chose to find a pair of high-quality, affordable glasses I love!
